1950s Christian Dior by Mitchel Maer Ruby Red Paste Faux Pearl 'Etruscan Revival' Gold Plated Bracelet, a stunning piece of rare vintage costume jewellery. This bracelet was designed by Mitchel Maer who worked for Christian Dior during 1952 - 1956. His work often was often inspired by Victorian designs hence the wonderful red paste and faux pearls this bracelet features. He did not design for long at Dior as Maer's company went bankrupt in 1956, making this bracelet a real piece of history. It is even a rarer find as this bracelet still features the original 'CHRISTIAN DIOR BY MITCHEL MAER' plaque- many of which were removed as ordered by Dior when Maer's company went bankrupt in 1956. This bracelet is lined with faux pearls and ruby red paste stones- classic of the 1950s Old Hollywood era. It also features a safety catch that is 2 inches in length. It comes in an original Christian Dior bracelet box making it the perfect gift for anyone who loves vintage costume jewellery.
